Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V3 (915MHz, NZ band)

The Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V3 is an ESP32-S3 board with a 915MHz LoRa radio and OLED display built in, and it is the most common starting point for a Meshtastic node in New Zealand.

Compatibility

Flashed with Meshtastic firmware from a browser, or programmed with the Arduino IDE, PlatformIO or ESPHome. Buy the 915MHz version: New Zealand's licence-free ISM allocation is 915-928MHz, and the 868MHz version sold for Europe must not be operated here.
