BH1750 Digital Light Intensity Sensor
—NZ$6.90
Availability: Sold out
The BH1750 is a digital light sensor that reports illuminance directly in lux over I2C, rather than the raw voltage an LDR gives.
Specifications
- Measures 1 to 65535 lux
- Digital I2C output in lux — no calibration curve needed
- Spectral response close to the human eye
- 3.3-5V supply
- Two selectable I2C addresses
What you can build with the BH1750 Digital Light Intensity Sensor
- Automatic lighting and blind control
- Plant and greenhouse light logging
- Display brightness adjustment
- Daylight-harvesting projects
Compatibility
Works with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Pico and Raspberry Pi over I2C. Unlike an LDR it needs no calibration and reports a real engineering unit, which matters if the reading has to mean something.
